Our great client is seeking a SharePoint Designer is support of a federal agency.  They will work in coordination with the Program Manger to lead, coordinate and participate in the design, development and implementation of SharePoint enterprise solutions for our client. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the development and deployment of solutions.   The candidate must be willing to establish and execute projects to meet deadlines.  The Designer must be able to maintain and apply techniques to identify and investigate problems, as well as develop solutions that meet the customer's goals.  They must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements/ Skills:
  • Development of SharePoint components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, etc.) for enterprise scale Portal and Collaboration solutions
  • Aid the support and development of integration points between the SharePoint solution and external applications
  • Experience with designing & deploying Microsoft SharePoint solutions
  • Creating/customizing SharePoint 2010 Site Collections, Sites, Lists / Libraries, workflows, and metadata
  • Experience with programming languages such as: JavaScript, JQuery, .NET, ASP .NET, HTML/CSS, XML, Microsoft Visual Basic, C#, C++
  • Perform SharePoint design activities for various SharePoint sites
  • Develop and Create standardized SharePoint master pages
  • Develop and Create custom SharePoint workflows, web Parts, and layouts per DCoE Customer requirements
  • Modify SharePoint templates as needed 
The Developer has a minimum of three (3) years experience in:
  • Working with and leveraging the SharePoint object model
  • Working with and leveraging SharePoint web services.
  • Creating web parts.
  • Creating user controls.
  • Implementing events.
  • Developing complex asynchronous workflows.
  • Deploying solutions and features with best practice.
  • SQL queries and Search query/index fine-tuning
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. The ability to communicate and teach non-technical users a must.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
