Company Description:

Our great client provides technical and operational oversight and advisory support for their federal customer to assist in the monitoring, performance tracking and quality assurance activities for its’ technical IT contracts. Oversight and advisory support areas include: technical operations management technical quality assurance support, incident management, problem management, program management, portfolio management, and contract management. Work products, deliverables, and support delivered under this task order are performed utilizing integrated processes and methods across all technical, business and management requirements.  Objectives to be technically and programmatically overseen, monitored and quality assured:  Oversee and monitor the provision of services providing expert technical engineering and project management support services to lead the modernization of the IT infrastructure through the migration of servers, data, and workloads from two (2) datacenters to the Microsoft Azure Government Cloud; Amazon Web Services and other Cloud/XaaS/Hosting environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The position requires experience and technical expertise in Cloud migration efforts to provide management advisory support and assessment of prime contractor programs technical and operational strategies.
  • The candidate possesses and applies expertise on multiple work assignments involving oversight of Cloud and other migration activities. 
  • Identify and research programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules. 
    • Can apply business knowledge to address a variety of technical, financial and operational data calls, requested analyses and reporting and information aggregation assignments.
    • Evaluates data, identifies trends, and recommends changes affecting project/initiative success.
  • The candidate shall be a self-starter with the ability to operate in this role with minimal supervision.
  • Can communicate in writing to a potential senior management (technical and non-technical) audience.
  • Provide IT lifecycle support / oversight for technical operations in one or more areas including hosting/data center/Cloud operations and Cloud migrations.
  • Study, analyze, and provide recommendations on requirements, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program execution
    • Research and analyze program trends, identify issues, and recommend solutions
    • Make recommendations on the allocation of funding, establishment of program goals, objectives, and schedules, and the formulation of program direction
    • Provide short notice, quick-reaction analyses of critical programmatic issues to senior executive level data calls, that pertain to technical and financial information.
    • Analyze and develop solutions addressing customer comments and issues.
  • Compose and present briefings to senior management; collecting and analyzing data from various sources, perform technically and operationally based analysis, and provide honest broker recommendations on any identified issues.
  • Coordinate and manage projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance
Required Skills:
  • Associates Degree or 7 years’ experience
  • Excellent with Excel.
  • Experience with Cloud (systems applications and data) migration efforts.
  • Experience with working with multiple data sources to analyze and compile potential outputs based on customer requirements.
  • Experience with continuous service / process improvements.
  • Experience with managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
  • Experience with research and analysis for responses to portfolio data calls involving the multiple data sources.
